Fall has arrived darlings! I hope everyone had a fun-filled Summer! No more “hot-girl Summer” over here, let’s get into this fresh new season. I’m more than ready for pumpkin spiced looks and lattes. Here are my Fall Fashion obsessions of 2019.
1. Long Cardigan from H&M
So comfy, cozy and great for layering in a ton of neutral colors, black, light gray melange, dark taupe and tan and only $19.99. You can’t beat that price! This is a definite wardrobe staple for Fall.

Long Cardigan by H&M $19.99
2. Chelsea Boots by Cole Haan
The Chelsea boot is a shoe that is still going strong heading into 2020. This style goes with practically everything. Pair it with your dress, leggings, jeans or skirt. The style possibilities are endless. This leather boot is so sleek and once broken in, very comfortable. I didn’t get it before, but now I’m totally obsessed.
Corrine Chelsea Boot original $200, at DSW.com $119
3. The Puff Sleeve (Trend Alert)
I can’t believe this trend is back! No matter where you go to shop you cannot escape it. This trend comes in many variations. If you want structured 1980’s Alexis Carrington (Dynasty) sleeves you can definitely find it. Perhaps you can only handle a slight puff in the sleeve, more subtle versions are also available. If you’re someone that is pear shaped this is one of the most flattering styles for your body type.
Jody Puff-Sleeve Sheath by Kobi Halperin: $498
4. Statement Bags
Every gal needs that one accessory that stands out from all the rest, in my case that’s a statement bag; luckily for me they are all the rave at the moment. Why not spice up that outfit with a bag that makes you do a double take? The mini bag is one trend taking center stage and I appreciate them from afar, but for my lifestyle it’s not very practical. The next best thing is to get a bag that is practical and makes a statement simultaneously. This structured bag from Pinko says, “I’m here!” but still doesn’t take anything away from my LOTD (look of the day).
Pinko Bag: $575, sale $250, Pinko.com
Mini Lady Dior Bag though lovely, not very practical
5. Dark Florals for Fall
Florals are not just for Spring time anymore. It’s becoming an all-year-round staple. This season transition into the cooler months with dark floral patterns. Take that Summer dress and add boots, a leather jacket and don’t forget your statement bag baby! Be even more on trend by buying floral patterns in deeper colors such as navy, burgundy, chocolate brown and black. One tip: Don’t buy a pattern that overwhelms you. If you just have to buy that floral pattern because it’s calling your name, pair it with a solid color for balance.
